Cinefest Oz

It's Cinefest time again. I love that festival. Quality stuff in the relaxed South West. Industry days at wineries. Sunshine in the mild WA winter. And usually a damn good dance floor.

This year I'm proud my own film is screening at Settlers Margaret River and Clancys Dunsborough. You can check it out  here

And just this year, I won't be there to see it. Sniff, sniff. I'm caught in Copenhagen, but don't feel too sorry for me. I'm excited to be joining the Australian SPAA delegation on the Scandinavian leg of their European tour. A few days meetings and tours in Stockholm and then back to Copenhagen for the TV festival and week's highlight for me - a masterclass with no other than the amazing Jane Campion. Kind of funny that I'm going to a masterclass with an Australian director in Copenhagen, but there you go. I'm looking forward to a wine or two with Vicki Madden, writer and producer of The Kettering Incident, who was on the tour last time, and meeting the other Aussies. Plus my own Aussie from home, my beloved pal Bec, is in town, so we'll be drinking to Cinefest here.
